Toniwo has been recognized for her writing countless times in the literary industry. Her work has been published in essence, honey, black and sing, houston mag, and minority business journal. She has also been on a number shows such as the Tyra Banks show. Toni also owns her own literary publishing firm called blacklight publshing, and is co-founder of blacklight productions, which is her film company that works to turn books into movies. This mother of two is also a navy vet, and dabbles in spoken word. Toniwo is on her game and continues to shine in the literary industry.
