QUICK LIT BITE OF THE DAY
Georgia Douglas Johnson-was an American poet and an important member of the Harlem Renaissance. In September 2009, it was announced that Johnson would be inducted into the Georgia Writers Hall of Fame. Some of her best known works of literature are: The Heart of a Woman (1918), Bronze (1922), An Autumn Love Cycle (1928), Share My World (1962), and A Sunday Morning in the South (1925).
