QUICK LIT BITE OF THE DAY! FAB LIT THINGS TO KNOW!

Fabulous, fantastic, and interesting are what literature truly represents! Here are some "quick lit bites" to get you motivated and inspired to read, write, and immerse yourself in literature.

QUICK LIT BITE OF THE DAY!

Poet Emily Dickinson was a prolific private poet who lived a mostly introverted and reclusive life.  Her poems are unique for the era in which she wrote; they contain short lines, typically lack titles, and often use slant rhyme as well as unconventional capitalization and punctuation. Many of her poems deal with themes of death and immortality.

Emily Dickinson poem-"This is my letter to the world"

That never wrote to me,--
The simple news that Nature told,
With tender majesty.
Her message is committed
To hands I cannot see;
For love of her, sweet countrymen,
Judge tenderly of me!
