Literacy for life is what we as a people need to strive for on a daily basis. Literacy has become a growing concern and a major epidemic in our society. There are millions upon millions of people that cannot read or write or do both. It's time that we as a nation stand up and help our fellow people with this growing epidemic. Literacy is a human right that we should be able to do. We have to do whatever it takes to make sure our youth get the proper education that they need to succeed in life. It all starts with basic literacy skills. Parents, community members, teachers, public officials and many more all have do what it takes to step up and prepare our youth and our country for success.
